My Story

My journey into the tech industry began with a fascination for data and a desire to make a positive impact on society through tech. Growing up in a commercial capital of Nigeria, Lagos, I was always interested in numbers and statistics, and spent much of my free time tinkering with computers.

After completing my undergraduate studies in Microbiology, I proceeded to obtaining few certifications and training in the field of Data Science. This landed my first job as a data analyst at a local NGO; where I was responsible for managing data sets, cleaning data, and creating reports for program managers.

I quickly realized the power of data in driving decision-making and the potential for technology to automate and streamline these processes. This prompted me to take up more certifications and gigs in in data management and research in the public health sector.

Hello world! A new universal communication

It’s time to think about coding like you do about learning a new language or learning a musical instrument. Code is quickly becoming the universal language of communication, connecting more than two billion people around the world who use the Internet regularly. Introducing young people to the cornerstone of the digital world – code – will make not only those who use technology, but
